Thank you for your interest in the GCSE revision sessions with Belper Education, please find some more information below:

Each session is 2 hours of quality preparation for Foundation or Higher Maths GCSE
-
Resources have been compiled using AQA maths specification and expert knowledge of exam papers.

Sessions run by qualified, experienced teachers.

Small groups only to ensure individual engagement, progress and feedback.
Foundation Maths GCSE: Grade 4/5 maths masterclass session:
Key topics to attain a grade 5 including trigonometry, simultaneous equations, probability trees, ratio problems and algebra including quadratics
Higher Maths GCSE: Grade 5/6/7 maths masterclass session:
Key topics to attain at least a grade 6 including vectors, algebraic fractions, quadratics, transformation of graphs, trigonometry and ratio
Also we shall go over

the anatomy of an exam question: understanding what is required and where to start first on multiple-mark questions;

memory tools: how to remember key words and facts
-
how to make the most of the information given on the formulae sheet
After each session:
Further exam questions with mark schemes will be sent to help retention of information for independent study
Session dates:
Thursday 18th April 4.30-6.30pm Revision overview and non-calculator preparation
Tuesday 28th May 10am-12 Preparing for paper 2 following analysis of paper 1
Thursday 6th June 4.30-6.30pm - preparing for paper 3 following analysis of paper 2
GCSE Maths exam dates:
Paper 1 - Thursday 16th May
Paper 2 - Monday 3rd June
Paper 3 - Monday 10th June
Prices:
£30 per 2 hour session or £75 to reserve a space on all 3.
